Re: sec

I suggest you ask the surgeon about this question. A fistula takes time to heal, and you should consider that.

This is not a question we can answer. Welcome to the forum, and hope your recovery is fast.

Good luck!

Re: Yellow Leakage and Itchy

You may have an infection, but only a trip to the doctor can tell you that.

Suggest that as your best bet. Let us know!

Re: Simple Fistula Surgery 2014, Now Fissures :-(

You really should take the advice of your CRS. Sadly, an abcess will NOT just clear up, even after the antibiotics. Do not just leave it and hope for the best. If the surgeon said it's a 'simple superficial fistula' I would take him at his word. Also, leaving it open is common treatment for fistulas...

Re: Newbie

:wel: Sounds like you have a fissure, but might be an abscess as your doctor said a cyst. Unless the fissure is infected. Difficult to tell from what you've written. Did the doctor give you anything to take? Do ask what exactly it is. Don't worry about your typing, by the way. :huggies: Here are som...

Re: Issues Sitting?

Donut cushions for anal fissure are not recommended by most CRSs. They are more suited to hemorrhoid problems/surgery. They restrict blood flow to the area and with Anal Fissures this is counterproductive, opposite of what you want to achieve. Just use a soft cushion.

Re: Advancement flaps

Nick, Have you researched Mr. Windsor? A few of our members have seen him in London, including pinpin, another of our administrators. Below is a link to posts where his name is mentioned. Very highly respected CRS. http://anal-fissure.org/search.php?keywords=Windsor&terms=all&author=&sc=...

Re: Advancement flaps

I've made the sub-forum. Will gradually move relevant posts into there so people don't have to search. Any links, etc., just let me know or add them.
