I am just wondering how many of you had the LIS sphincterotomy surgery and developed new anal fissures after the surgery? How many of you developed incontinence?

Post sphincterotomy question

hello! I had the LIS/Fissurectomy surgery almost 5 weeks ago... I had what appeared to be excess skin beforehand and it still appears to be there. Is this normal? My surgeon said it was inflamed tissue from the fissure NOT a skin tag so he didn't remove it...
