Should I still use Diltiazem

Postby fire-cracker » 11 Jun 2010, 18:06

I haven't said anything to anyone about this because the last time I did I jinxed myself, but I have a question. My BM's have been pain-free for at approx. 1 month now. I have been doing really well with keeping my BM soft though sometimes a little too soft. The only discomfort that I am having I think might be coming from the skin tags that I have. I am still using diltazem. Today I picked up my last Rx of diltazem and was wondering should I continue to use it or should I save it just incase??? I just don't know what to do. I would be happy to stop using it, but it also makes me a little nervous to think about not using it.

Fire,
Maybe you could use it "only as needed." That is what I eventually went with per instructions from my local CRS. Another option would be to use it less often, but still somewhat regularly.

I could be wrong on this, but I'm not sure saving it would do any good... I have heard that it doesn't have a very long shelf life. Might check with your doc on that though.
