Simply Waiting

Postby Guest » 04 May 2007, 01:42

So I finally spoke to the doctor last week and he told me that he can't really give me anything for that the spasms and to just keep taking sitz baths.
Thankfully I haven't been in much pain the last few days and I am hoping I don't have a re-tear before the surgery so that the last butt pain I feel is the surgery pain and then when that goes away.. ah.. happiness.

You're getting closer! It does seem like the days are dragging by though, doesn't it?
I am glad you have had a reprieve from the pain for the last few days.
I guess you'll have to figure out a way to study for exams in the tub???!!!
Have a great weekend,

when is your surgery? eveidently it must be soon, youd think the doc would give you something..a cream,or pill,something..geeesh...maybe they dont want it to interfere with the surgery in some way? i havent tried a bath yet,ive had mine since late october, its come and never really gone, maybe i will give a bath a try one day if i get real bad.do you use anything in the water like a oatmeal bath,or just use warm water?

I use Epsom salts and have pretty good results with it. It helps to draw out the inflammation.
