Stupid Question?

Maybe this is a stupid questions but

Besides the act of a bowel movement, When it comes to all day pain, do fissures hurt or is it the spasm causing the fissure to hurt

I had the same question..there are days with no bm that i have pain also..so for me it is both..the pain is much worse when bm so a 60/40 for me..
