Hi,
That's a really good question because I find out of all the No-go fissure foods that sugar is the one thing that doesn't cause me any major issues. Deep fried stuff, fast foods, tough meats, white refined products, pickles are all off my dietary list but I must confess I'm a chocoholic!!! and probably eat it every other day at least. On saying that I don't eat "sweets" and I don't use sugar on cereals and in drinks but chocolate honestly doesn't seem to affect me too much and thank goodness because I love it! If anything it produces a slight laxative effect, which actually helps! x

sugar and wheat and rice stops the body from absorbing nutrients
you can eat rice in very small amounts but you need to soak it it sea salt for 2 to 3 days before cooking in it

For me, definitely. I'll avoid sugar in the rest of my life, because not only sweet food gives me IBS, they also (potentially) give me diabete and other life-long annoyance. Any way I don't really need it so I find it better to totally avoid it if possible.

grains have a protective layer against animals...they wont eat it
by soaking it in salty water for 2 days it brakes down the anti nutrient and it ferments making it more nutritious
