Swabs?

What kind of tests is the doctor doing when he uses a swab in the area? I feel really dumb, but I didn't ask him....

There are quite a few tests. What I do is get all my results/medical records. I don't like to be kept in suspense! We have to be advocates for our own health. Get the report and then you can google it!!
