Hello. I'm in desperate need of advice. I have been in and out of the hospital for perianal abscess and anal fissure and doctors think that I may be forming fistula. I'm currently 15 weeks pregnant and very afraid to get the surgery done because my surgeon told me that the only other pregnant person they operated on ended up having a miscarriage. I already had a miscarriage from my previous pregnancy and I can't imagine losing this baby. My OB thinks I should get the surgery but I'm thinking I should tough it out for 6 more months and do it after the baby is here. I'm also having a c section btw. Are there other moms out there that have had this experience? Please help
