Yes, thank you. Not much pain just uncomfortable. The antibiotics are doing a number on my stomach so I'm taking a probiotic and eating alot of yogurt to try and help.
Good Luck!

No sedation just local. Honestly the worst part are the local needles but its over pretty quick. From start to finish it only takes about 30 minutes, if that.

Bum, that's great to hear ! I begged my doc to do my botox in his office but he wanted to use surgery room at the hospital .
The bills totalled almost $ 6,000. !! Unbelievable !
So, I'de assume a LIS surgery would be at least that much.
It's not just all about the money cause I can afford it - but these hospitals are ripping us off !
Thanks for the info Bum ..........and best of luck healing fast !

I also had the botox procedure done. had it in the doc's office. Took less than 30 minutes. $6,000 is insane for a procedure that takes less than 30 minutes. Rip off is putting it politely.

I didn't know they will do a 2nd LIS...A year after my surgery, I am sad to say over the weekend I developed a new one..it is quite painful..I can only guess it was because I hadn't had a bm in five weeks...So, I guess I am going to hope it heals, I don't know if it would pay to start over if it doesn't??

yeah it was five weeks and I finally had one..I was so thrilled..I was starting to feel quite uncomfortable..but of course where I used to go they said that is perfectly normal..Since the year ended I no longer go there, but I haven't established care yet..im afraid to!
