So glad I found this forum

Postby azphilosopher » 29 Oct 2017, 17:10

I just did a Google search on "anal fissure skin rash" and stumbled into this forum. I see that I am not alone with my issues! My anal fissure was caused by my last colonoscopy. No problems before that. I have been fighting the fissure and the medication side effects now for 6 months. No healing yet that I can tell. Not much help from doctors. My next step is to work through all the related posts here and seek some new ideas.
Fissure started in May 2017 due to colonoscopy
First 2 doctors prescribed only hydro cortisone
CRS finally diagnosed fissure in August
Nitro and other creams have not helped, may be causing rash
