I was not offended, and I just remembered that one of my local docs returned my call, and she also had her associat call in a Rx for me while she on vacation. That was pretty good also. I had forgotten about that because I usually always go see my local docs, instead of calling them. That is why they are all tired of me.

I agree with you Lecia - I had to bring print-outs since my GP never even heard of Burning Mouth Syndrome - not to mention knew how to treat it ! She referred me to ENT specialist who also didn't know what to do with me - they both gave me steroid creams to try and they made my condition MUCH MUCHworse : (( ! Than I found out on my own that Oral Pathologist is the one who I am supposed to see and voila - after 10 min exam I got diagnosed with BMS - the very condition I was pushing papers around to my GP and ENT !!! She gave me proper meds and it is under complete control - before that it was pure agony : ((( !
