Successful Botox injection?

Postby Sadbum » 04 Feb 2018, 13:22

Hi! I had my son about 19 months ago (and just had my daughter 5 months ago) after the birth of my son I got a fissure.

It has been on and off since then. I wouldn’t say the pain is excruciating (some days are worse than others). I am considering Botox because I am done with this pain.
* I’m not sure if I’m getting spasms? Sometimes I feel a vibrating and I just am really sore after BM

Any success stories? I have two small children and am worried about a bad outcome!

I've just been to see the CRS a week ago and was started on NEOZEM cream its Diltiazem Hydrochloride. I've to use this for 2 months and then go back. Next thing is to try will be botox if this doesn't work. Botox Does seem to help a lot of people. Please keep us posted on what you decide to do and if it works for you. Good luck

Hi spasms vary from a tingling, burning soreness to a rolling on the carpet screaming agony it depends on the severity and the natural resting tone of your IS
If the creams haven’t worked then Botox is a good next step. I had Botox and it stopped my spasms (the screaming kind) from day one and by week six I was just having a bit of burning for 20 mins after a BM (my spasms could last 8/24 hours) so Botox gave me many pain free months. We have also had a few members recently who have healed fully with Botox including bum UK and mamafizz who both wrote diaries
Good luck
