I can really relate to what you say and feel Lecia, and I feel so sorry for you.
It is difficult to live with this and at the same time try to live a normal life. It is also hard to be a mum when you're always in pain. Wish I could do something to comfort and support you, but it will only be words...
It is OK to cry because you are sad and in pain, we all do, and maybe it is the one thing that keeps us sane
I think Image LECIA (and you should take it as a compliment, as it comes from someone who lives almost on the North Pole...)

Lecia
I am so sorry the past few days have been hard on you. One day this will all be over with and we shall be normal again, until then we have each other and I will pray for you.

Thanks you guys. You are very kind. I would not be here if it weren't for you all. I know that you understand. I have to go get lunch for the girls (Corsi, they are 5 and 10) and then take the older one to a birthday party. Can't wait until school starts us. I guess I better go take some pain medicine so I can get through the day.

Love y'all!

thanks Jen, for asking! my doctors given me a morphine patch and said he thinks its a ruptured disc putting pressure on a nerve which will probably need surgery, but i wont know for sure until i see the specialist on thursday.

when do your schools start again, Lecia? i'm so sorry you're having such a rough day. its so hard being a mum and being in so much pain.

Val,
Sorry you may need surgery for your neck, I hope it can heal on its own very soon. Surgery isn't any fun. Hope the patch is helping.

I am so glad they gave you the patch, Val! It might take awhile for it to build up in your bloodstream so you might want to continue with the other meds until it does.

I am glad they think they know what is causing the pain though surgery is no fun. What is the next step?

School starts a week from Wednesday.

Image thanks guys! You're all so sweet. Unfortuneately, I had a bad reaction to the patch! I put it on last night and felt strange and hubby said my eyes were crossing, but didn't worry about it so I left it on all night. When I got up this morning I was just falling about all over the place and fainting, and sick. He took the patch off and its wearing off now, but I still feel really weird and "floaty"! And it didnt help with the pain either Image .
