phew indeed. was worried about the bump, but if the surgeon thinks nothing of it, then so do I. Supposedly one of the better ones in my area so pretty calming to know he thinks that all is well.

Well it appears that indeed an infection did develop. Saw the doc today cause still having some discomfort/discharge and he said there is definitely an abscess. Said it appears to be fairly superficial near the incision. On anti-biotics now and see him again in 2 weeks at which point either its better or surgery to fix it. He said because I have no other health issues he thinks I have decent odds, especially because its still draining on its own. Here's hoping.

Sorry to hear about the infection. It's good you know whats going on now though. Hopefully the antibiotics will do the trick!
