I had mine just 5 weeks ago but am experiencing problems now with stitches still in place/pulling out that bleed, get infected and become painful. Also there appears to be a red raw patch around the base of the wound and a small hole to the side of this. Is this normal? Any tips on improving my situation would be gratefully received.

I wasn't on the board when those threads were written but I have read every post on here several times before having my LIS and from what I read she did well and healed. I imagine if things hadn't stayed that way, she would have returned for support or had questions. Just my guess since most would disappear after getting well and moving on:)

I'm not certain but I think there was another person named peachy that had this but I would have to double check...Seems the stories are hidden in post that are others stories?!

Hi again, yea I suppose no news is good news in this case from KB. If you do find another 'flap' thread let me know. I take it you had LIS? How did it go? sorry you have probably explained this elsewhere on the forum I expect I will come across your thread soon enough, am still reading my way through!
