Hey there! Much better. I have transient fissures but they do not hurt nearly to the extent they used to. More of an annoyance. I’m planning to get back to my surgeon soon to have it checked out. I would say I’m 85% better - I’ll take it!!!

oh crap. my pain didn't go away for a good month-to two months. is your at least significantly less than prior to surgery? i couldn't do anything prior to being cut - i couldn't sit/walk - the pain was excruciating. the post surgery pain was definitely less (immediately post surgery). what i feel now is definitely nowhere close to the pre-surgery pain, just annoying.
my surgeon told me to expect up to 8 weeks healing time after surgery. i would NOT come close to considering yours a failure at all. give it time and be sure to religiously take sitz baths - 3x daily. i also alternated ice packs/heating pad and that helped with inflammation.

ahhh you had tag removal too - that is totally where the pain is likely coming from. ive heard thats not super comfortable to heal from.
give it time. rest well and if you are concerned, defo go see your surgeon so they can take a look.
I hope you heal up quickly!

Yes thankyou for giving me a relief message. Yes my pain is from post surgery , there is a little in midline anterior i dont know if that is the fissure or the tag removed. I can scale it as 2/10 pain . Thankyou keystone , I am also hoping you to heal soon :) Goodluck to us sufferers . This fissure ruined my life for 7years until i finally came to LIS because there is no other option :)
