Constipation inflammation fecal impaction

Defecate into a sitz bath of luke warm water with half a table spoon of coconut oil in it. This takes time and you kind of have to tease the stool partially in and out of your anus so eveything gets lubricated. I combine this with massaging with my finger at a spot between the base of the spine and the anus. This helps loosen/break up and move the more slightly lubricated stool.

I might need to do the above combination 2 or 3 times and empty my bowels in stages. But this has certainly helped tremendously in situations that could have ended in constpiation fecal impaction or hospital.

After my bowels are emptied i will have a plain COLD water sitz bath for 2 minutes or more. This really helps sooth and reduce the inflammation inside. After toweling dry a few mins later i use a little sudocream. I leave that to absorb for half an hour to 45 mins and then put some anusol (NON STEROID VERSION ONLY!!!!!) inside. Anusol is used 3 times a day whilst the inflammation is there. The non steroid version of anusol apparently does not thin the skin so is safe to use.

During day 1 of this i might fast for 8 hours and then have something light to eat like poached egg, cucumber and tomatoes with a bit of salt and pepper. Maybe a quarter of a slice of bread with a slice of cucumber and good quality almond or peanut butter on. Or snack on cucumber slices with almond butter or peanut butter on them.
After eating i take ibuprofen to help reduce inflammation.

Supplements I take regularly are
Vitamin c
Multivitamin and minerals
Vitamin D3
Vitamin B6

Magnesium 2×187.5mg but on the first day of flare up i take 3 of these instead of 2.

I am now making NSDR - non sleep deep rest part of my daily routine 2 - 3 times a day.
In addition to the belly breathing i am also doing box breathing as well. The NSDR is DEFINITELY worth checking out to help relax a break the cycle of fight or flight that many of us are trapped in and undoubtedly wont heal until that cycle is broken. Which in turn should help relax the sphincter and hypertonic pelvic floor (dont forget your belly breathing!!). This might be worth doing before if you think you might need the toilet in half an hour or so.

Praise be to God for His loving kindness and mercies. Peace to you all.

You are doing a lot of things right. I found that it’s best to avoid reaching that stage. If I don’t have a bm at my regular time I use a little milk of magnesia to help. Always works. Everyone’s different . Making a mmmm sound or mooo sound helps always during defecation. It’s been years since I have had to resort to that because I try to go by o the toilet twice daily. Also trying squatting before jumping on the toilet. Somehow it makes it easier.
