Thanks HTH, in all what you are going through, ya asked about me! Well, I'm not thinking of a trip to SA just now, but I am in the planning stage of what to do next. It varies on what sort of a day I have as to how far in the country I'm willing to go to find someone who knows what they are doing (does not shove anything up my tender a$$h$$e without giving me at least a bit of leather to bite down onto...). At least I now have learnt that I need to see a CRS and not just a GI specialist. Also, from all the straining, I think I have messed up other parts of me, so feel that wherever I go they must have someone involved in pelvic disorders too. Thinking of Mayo, and that is where it stands right now.
I am so glad that you have found someone 'kind,' if that is the right description for a CRS. It makes such a difference too when you have confidence in a doc and feel he is going that extra bit for you. My GP is a bit hopeless with prescribing for me (2% nitro as an example) but he has a good heart and cares. I burst into tears the last time I saw him (not my usual way of coping) and he was just so sweet.
Summer is here at last. Trees green, wild roses flowering, lupine out, spuds coming up. Through all of this mess, I still can look out of my window or sit at 'my' river and enjoy it. Heard a Loon twice this morning!
Thinking of you. Will be watching out for your first post afterwards.

Good luck, hope! You too NG! I hope it goes nice and easy for you and your drug induced haze gives you a small amount of pleasure :) I'm so glad you'll be out this time, hope and dealing with a decent surgeon! You'll be on the road to a happy ass before you know it! My thoughts are with you...

Thanks Elphie! (I know your avatar is a witch but every time I see it next to your screen name, my brain thinks it's an elf Image)
Hope, here's to a good ol' fashioned fun day in the hospital tomorrow. It's late out in your neck of the woods so hopefully you're getting some rest and having a good butt day! Image

DOH! I was gonna go to Katy Perry too but she sold out already in my city :( She added a new show about 30 miles away but I'm kinda on the fence about making the drive. Love her though! Not as much as Britney, Tupac, Star Trek, or functioning private parts, but still pretty high up there :)

Ha ha! Back from the hospital already :D
The nurse was very nice. She walked me through everything so I know what to expect. Wow - it's nice to be treated like a human being!
So ... I guess you're still waiting to go to the hospital?
Does that mean I won the race? Image

Post when you get home and let us know how you are - and so that we know that the aliens didn't abduct you!
