Am I healing? Good News and Bad News

Postby lewloo » 28 Jun 2011, 07:50

So, I've had an AF for the past 2 months. Bad spasms....the works. I've been taking the Nitroglycerine which helps, but I saw no end in sight as far as healing and going away.
The bad news is I've developed an outer hemmoroid, that's not incredibly painful (I guess with an AF I'm more tolerant), but the good news and this I guess is my question is that since developing the hemmoroid I've had less/no pain during and after BM.
It's almost as if the hemmoroid is keeping the scar from tearing open again. I've only had 2 bm's since this has developed.
Am I on the way to healing or is this just a cruel joke?

Hi there,
sorry you're suffering,
Nitro should help, but sorry to say, it sounds like you have a skintag, which is named a "sentinel pile" as it stands on guard over the fissure! It usually occurs with chronic fissures and if that's the case, you would possibly benefit from having LIS, which would cure the fissure permanantly.

I second Val. That sounds like a skin tag from the fissure.
Mine developed at around two months after I got my fissure too. I had it removed with my LIS last year. Best thing I ever did.
They are so painful!
