I wanted to say that I have been pain free for over a week and have found some freedom from the bathroom. I went to see a CRS 2 weeks ago. She prescribed me HYDROCORTISONE ACETATE 25 MG SUPPOSITORY. I was a bit weary of it since I had to insert it. But I do every night before bed, and it has helped me so much.
The CRS told me that while I sleep it will melt and the medicine will heal the fissure. I am not going to say 100% that I am healed or I am healing. I have a feeling that one day I might have a retear, as I don't believe this really goes away.
I wanted to share with you my discovery of this medicine. I don't know if you have tried it before, but it might be worth talking to your Doctor or CRS about.
