3 week post-op appointment

Postby linda » 09 Nov 2011, 14:51

It will be 3 weeks since LIS this Friday and I feel GREAT!
I saw the nurse practitioner and she didn't even do an exam, just said as long as I felt good I didn't need one (unless I wanted it...not me). She said the fissure will take a few more weeks to fully heal. I asked how long I can continue to take miralax. I'm still afraid of that big bad bm happening and she said some people take it long term and it's perfectly fine. I have always had constipation trouble. She said I could use diaper rash ointment for the itch but my itch has gone away (it was wicked day 3 to 10). She also said the occasional zings are normal. I love my CRS and I hope I never see him again!!!
