is sex safe?

Postby beachgirl » 21 Nov 2011, 11:57

i think the title says it all.
i guess it will depend on where one is at.
i am scared to have it.
this condition has really messed with my head.
thanks for letting me vent.
i am not even sure if i am at risk, it all seems so random. sometimes.
thankfully my partner understands but it is also messing with my desires and self esteem too.
any suggestions?
thanks.

during my painful days, i don't really have appetite for such, and with all the worries in my head that some movements may further hurt me. Soo.. u probably like to abstain from it for a while

For me personally it is painful and I actually bled before and my husband doesn't seem to get it I think a little selfish. Doesn't hurt to wait.

I am thinking it is safe, but it all depends on your pain. On my very painful days, I don't feel like doing anything!!! My husband and I have a great bedroom life and this thing really hampers it. Sorry if TMI, once I get things under control, we try different ways. My AF is at 6 oclock closer to the spine, so I don't get the pulling a lot of girls do, but still he is very careful, and if it is not enjoyable for both then why even do it!!! He totally understands what I am going through and is a very patient man...Thank god!!

From a blokes perspective, it hurt me at its worst. Everything seems attached to your bum hole!! I would say if it hurts don't do it, and if you do, don't get too vigorous if you get what I mean. Your husband will, I'm sure, understand.

If you're not hurting too bad at the time, I guess its probably safe. I find being on top is better as you can control what's going on more. I don't think sex made or makes the fissure worse. I've had times when in low/moderate pain I've tried it and while its happening my mind blocks the fissure pain.
