For the colonoscopy prep had to take a lot of laxatives and be on liquor diet for a day and half. After surgery am getting lot of cramps due to laxatives and the colonoscopy procedure is causing lot of gases causing colon spasms. Percocet is useless when the spasms show up. Gettin a spasm every 20 minutes. However no regrets so far regarding the surgery...

Only one percocet this morning. Have been avoiding it. Pain is equivalent to a worst fissure pain the entire day. On my scale of 1-10 it is 9 - 9.5 and am having a difficult time to find a comfortable position...
In the past when I had a worst fissure I would take Celebrex prescirbed by my PCP and that thing worked really well for 24 hours. My CRS says no to celebrex as it can cause bleeding.
Anyone can share their tips on finding a comfortable position and alternatives to percocet?

Day 3. I want to get of percocet. I had one this morning before Bm. In the afternoon took a celebrex and was relatively pain free till midnight and then boom.... Ended up taking a percocet. Also feel like there is going to be a Bm but does not happen. Had 4 bms already....
