Bad day after weeks of being ok?

Postby Jenbug » 17 Jan 2012, 16:17

I can't figure it out. I've been in pain, but the pressure had seemed like it was letting up. And the CRS said the fistula had healed on the inside..I'm so confused!
I woke up this morning to that same clear/orange oil fluid draining from where the abscess was and is still a little raised where every doctor says its scar tissue. The cord they also say is scar tissue where the fistula "was" is where the intense pressure and pain is along with the actual anus itself.
When I push on the cord, nothing comes out of the abscess or anally, but it sure does hurt. I've taken two baths today and given a call to my CRS to get me an appointment and the earliest is Feb 16th..should I just go see my GP or go to urgent care??

Call them back and tell them you can't wait, you need to be seen sooner than that!!! You don't want an infection to develop again!! You really need to see your CRS not a GP or urgent care
