How are YOU feeling today?

Postby Davo » 20 Jan 2012, 04:06

Hi,
Well I have posted too many ‘Me, Me, Me’ threads today – I guess we all have moments where we urgently need advice or need to let off some steam!
The weekend starts today :D so I was just wondering what stage everybody is at the moment – If you were to rate your pain and state of mind (out of ten) what stage would you say you are at today?
10. Absolute Hell – Off to the emergency room (A&E)
09. Extreme Pain – Unable to function properly, laid up in bed all day, need
doctors’ advice
08. Really Painful – Not able to work – can barely walk a few steps
07. Painful – attending work is borderline, walking like a penguin, painful to
sit down
06. Painful – can attend work – Can JUST perform your normal daily tasks
but at a slower pace
05. Major Discomfort – can go about daily life but it’s not much fun
04. Discomfort – Its giving you grief but its bearable, you can walk ok and
function ok but with discomfort
03. Mild Discomfort – It’s bearable and it maybe intermittent – It may feel
like you are healing
02. Annoyance – it’s not painful but may be a slight discomfort, itching or
you’re getting a buzzing effect
01.Mild Annoyance- At times you are symptom free – you may get a slight
twinge when moving around
00.You either healed, on here to support others or have stumbled upon the
wrong website.
For me I am currently around a three, it would have been better but I had a stomach bug yesterday which upset things a little.

I hope everyone is a six or less!

:*( I'm at a 03 Davo Image Yesterday I had a real bad migraine that came out of nowhere! I had not had a migraine in over 10 years! Not too sure if it has to do with the chemo treatment that started on Wednesday :*(..
God bless you and we keep praying that God heal all of us..

sorry about your migraine maria,
I am usually at a 3, started at a 4 when I first saw my crs, but been stuck at 3 for weeks...
So I can't complain too much. It's the uncertainty as to whether it will heal or not, and the fear as to what that would entail, that freaks me out.

Today I am somewhere between a 4 and a 6. No that doesn't mean a 5 because I have symptoms that put me in a 7 but can be as low as a 4. If I stand for prolonged periods, I am in agony and the spasms hit. But if I dart between chores and visits down to the shop and am able to sit down, then I am ok. Standing in a queue is my worst nightmare right now. At least at home I can prepare veg, etc sitting on a perching stool.
Slowly getting my BMs under control but still can take me 30-40 mins in the morning which is pretty dismal. Got a few testers next week to see how I cope back in the real world. Can't pretend I am not nervous having been pretty much housebound for 2 weeks.

I'm pleased to say I'm at a 2 today, I have lived on potatoes and veg (lots of) and started eating some fruit which I don't usually do a lot of usually, so I've been coping better than before with bms, but I had chips and pizza out of laziness tonight as we'd been out all day visiting family and then shopping and got home late so just bunged something easy in, had a bm just now and it was uncomfortable but (sorry for too much info) not blood so that's a bonus and like I say uncomfortable not painful as such. But who knows what tomorrow will hold after pizza and chips. Got that weird buzzing feeling like an electric current shooting from down low upwards, its makes me sort of shudder, also a tad itchy, I usually use my daughters Sudocrem on it when its itchy as that's what a doctor once suggested, what does everyone else use for the itching? Xx

Somewhere in a 3-5, but being a teacher I am off work as we need to be 100% on ball all day. If the little darlings spot that you are having problems they will soon dive in and start being stupid, which makes the next lesson even harder.

Update: I have no idea what I have eaten, but now its a 7 :gah:

I would say at 6 mostly in the last days. When I rest in bed for almost whole day I am usually better, but I must do at least some cooking and cleaning every day and go to grocery store every other day and that makes my back and pelvic floor hurt along with fissure stabbing like a knife :verysad: .
Disabling burning, drilling pain in anal area for almost a year, started after UT infection. Small anal fissure diagnosed, turned out it is probably not the cause of pain, MRI shows no inflammation or fistula. Grateful to forum members for support.
