Miralax works GREAT!

Postby pat123 » 31 Jan 2012, 15:50

Hey everyone,
Just a little thanks for a tip I picked up here. I was using colace which my doctor told me to use, and I picked up here that Miralax is better. I got a Miralax clone called 'Clearlax' and started using it about four days ago. Wow!!! What a difference. BMs are soft and easy and don't result in blood on the tissue anymore, and no pain. I split the dose half in the morning, half in the afternoon around dinner.
Anyway, just wanted to say THANKS Image from a fellow sufferer. Headed for the CRS for the first time on Thursday, we'll see what he says.

granny... I got Clearlax on amazon
http://www.amazon.com/Members-Mark-Clearlax-2-17-9-Ounce/dp/B002T9XOA8/ref=wl_it_dp_o?ie=UTF8&coliid=IZ3N20HOOIGYI&colid=1C9YP8QS6FA6P
Got it shipped free and it was more cost effective than miralax.
Good luck and feel better! Image

Cheers mate! I'm going to go buy me some TONIGHT!
I have been on salad/fruit diet for the past 2 months and CLEARLY it doesn't work because the past 2 weeks I have blood EVERYTIME I have BM.
So I'm going to go buy me some Miralax / Restoralax and then go buy some Coconut Oil

Hmm, I've heard many good things about Coconut oil, but as a laxative? That's news to me. I'll have to look into this. Thanks!

Yeah, I've been using a generic version of Miralax that I picked up at Walgreens. It has softened my stools but I sadly still get bleeding. I'm barely eating, but when I do, it is poop-friendly foods these days. No nuts, no crunchy stuff, no red meat, mostly cooked veggies and chicken.
I am still curious about the benefits of Coconut Oil for our purposes.

Hmm, I'll have to try that. I've read some marvelous stuff about Coconut Oil. I,ve still got to make it the next two weeks until my LIS.
Oh, grannymaria, I hope that by now you have discovered that "Wally World" does indeed have a generic equivalent to MiraLAX.
