Healing and location of fissure.

So the doc says i have a big 2nd fissure, way up this time. does anyone know if the healing is the same as one on the outside? Thanks guys.

hi there, i'm so sorry to hear abt ur 2nd fissure and yes, u shall heal the same way as the external one. If u have exhausted all your conservative means, you probably would need to look into LIS for a better chance of healing.

Thank you dwarfs8. It doesnt seem to be healing at all, really big and sore, and really getting me down. :(((

Does the size of it contribute to how well it heals? because this new one is big!!!

hi idol79, yes, the size will heal slower than a smaller one...have u seen a CRS? if u haven't, u shld! How long did u have the fissures?

ive had my first one for 6 years, that got bit better, then bam this new huge one about two months ago. my doc wont refer me until i have tried the GTN again for a couple of months.
