Hello. I had LIS 3 weeks ago but right now I'm feeling a weird sensation in the anus like it's stretching/getting pulled/heaviness sometimes with a bit of pain whenever I walk, sit, change sleeping position and run/jumping, especially when clenching. If I'm just lying or sitting I feel fine. Pooping is not painful though just itching and sometimes sting a bit.

Jast saw the doctor and he said the lis site is healed but the fissure is not but only 5% are not healed yet. So I'm a bit confused on what cause this weird sensation.

Do you have this kind of sensation too? Should I be concerned? How long until I will feel normal again?

Did these new symptoms occur after you saw your doctor for the follow up? If so, you could always call to see what he thinks.

I have these new symtoms before and during the follow-up. The doctor didn't seem to be concerned but I freaking out due to I need to travel on a very long flight in 10 days so I am worried if something bad is happening down there but the doctor didn't see it.

If the doctor thought all was good, then I would try not to worry. I know that that is easier said than done though, so maybe you could book another appointment and let him know that you're very concerned, especially because you're due to leave on a trip soon.

My LIS was many years ago, and I don't remember those particular symptoms, but maybe someone else on the forum will pipe up soon and help you more.

Damn I think I retore the fissure, suddenly I felt the stinging pain again when having a bm and afterward. The heavy sensation is still there. Losing hope now.

Don't lose hope - call the doctor.

Thanks. Got the appointment on Monday and he said as long as it's not hurting all the time or having a discharge it should be fine. Just need to stay on miralax for now.

I'm wondering how long did you take to recover? Did you have retear or fissure like symptoms after the surgery?

It took me about 3 weeks to be able to sit comfortably (before that, I had to lounge on my side). No, I didn't tear again, or have fissure-like symptoms.
