I had a fissurectomy, sphincterectomy, and a hemmorhoidectomy last March. In the last couple of months I have been having on-again/ off-again pain in the scar area. It will be very painful for a couple of days, then pus will come out of the scar. Is this normal. I use baby wipes when wiping. I keep the area very clean. I owe a ridiculous amount of money to my surgeon/ colon Dr. I am making payments, but cannot get in to see him until I have paid in full. So, I basically do not have the option to see him for several more months. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think you need to tell your surgeon your symptoms. Pain and pus suggest infection.
He is your doctor and it is his responsibility to make sure you are fully healed.
I strongly urge you to see a doctor about it!
