My GI doc at Mayos told me I will always have to take Miralax, and I am planning on doing that. Everyone is different. Sometimes fiber supplements (and fiber foods) can help a person cut down on the amount of Miralax.

Hey, I'm healing using primarily miralax also. I'm still getting bleeding on and off every couple of weeks when i have a larger bm, but as long as I keep my BMs that soft consistency, there are no problems.
I agree with you on miralax... amazing stuff that GPs should recommend instead of colace. Tho it's a skill to get the right dosage, my body seems to need less now than in the beginning... down to about 2/3 dose per day split into two doses.
