Three weeks since procedure.

Still having discomfort sitting and with BM's. Also noticing blood in the bowl and some discharge. Waiting on a call back from my surgeon. Was wondering if I'm just paranoid? :(

Sorry to hear that. I guess it wouldnt hurt to try it. I was given some samples of that ointment last week when I had my LIS and have used it a few times. I haven't recently because I wanted to let things heal naturally. It's suppose to help promote healing and is a moisture blocker.

Hello Neeooo,
This is an ointment used for skin irritations and contains menthol. I am now using an rx ointment that has a menthol compound in it and I love it. Feels very soothing/cooling when applied. If recommended by your crs...I'd definitely give it a try. If it doesn't offer you relief, or is bothersome, you stop. No harm in trying.
Let us know either way...and I hope it does provide you with comfort. Image
Best Wishes,
