im new to this forum not new to having a pain in my butt :)
its been nearly 2 years and i have only just gone to the doctors im very shy !!
they gave me xyloproct for a week then hopefully it wont be so painful and they can have a look or do whatever it is they do....
but xyloproct is stinging like a b***h ... anyone have any experience with this?
and can anyone tell me what to expect from the docs as i have to go back next week...

Sorry your suffering 😒. You didn't say in your post what your gp thinks you have! I used stuff similar to xyloproct called proctofoam which does same job, numbs area & reduces inflammation but it stung like a b***h too. I suffered for a long time too before I went to dr but you get to a stage you don't care who's looking as long as they take away the pain. Your dr will probably recommend you see a specialist a CRS who will confirm you condition. I hope you find some relief. In the mean time drink lots water, keep your stool soft & take lots hot baths.
