Hi Nakhti,
Magnesium both softens stool by bringing water into the colon, and it can also provide some assistance with muscle spasms..
How are you doing these days?

I haven't ever heard of using colostrum for fissures before reading the other thread, but hey, anything that works. Theoretically since it does seem to help the immune system, it might give a healing boost? I really don't know.
On the magnesium, the dosage is really individual for everyone. Some people are really sensitive to it and it causes diarrhea. Starting off at the low end according to the label on the supplement bottle, and working up from there, is a good idea.
I'm really happy to hear that overall you're feeling some improvement, but sorry about the recent flare. I hope it improves quickly.
After more than a year and a half of multiple fissures, I'm still just pretty much learning how to live with this condition chronically, as all the doctors I see say the same thing, and don't see surgery as a good option for me.
Thank you so much for asking. Image

Google .'what are the benefits of taking colostrum' that site explains a lot about it, It helps with inflammation and bad bacteria in the gut,for starters. But once again get the New Zealand one, it is made from fresh milk ,not powder. 'Good health' is a good trusted brand and they sell offshore
