totally no need to be embarrassed. I'm to the point where I drop trau for anyone who says they're a CRS (just kidding but you get the point). Besides, the more detail you can provide for your CRS, the better s/he will be able to assess the situation and determine what might help you.
Also, bright red blood in stools means the bleeding is close to the exit and not in your intestines, which means it is likely the fissure bleeding.
Also, someone mentioned botox to you. I had great luck with botox. what I am dealing with now is the remained of a hemmie, which I got just before the injection and which got irritated by the injections.
I can sympathize witht the burning. I get that too. Drives me insane.
I have found a couple of ways to combat it though. Maybe they'll work for you.
1) I use a needless syringe (come with some rectal prescriptions or can be found at pet store--used for feeding birds medicines) and inject vitamin E oil. I used the kind that's been cut with safflower oil, as too much vit E can be irritating.
2) I have decided to OD on EFAs. I am taking 3 Tablespoons of flax oil per day (one with each meal). I am also drinking flax seeds. I pour boiling hot water over about 1 1/2 T of flax seeds and let them steep. They let out this gooey mucous which is supposed to be good for digestion and caoting stools. Started two days ago and had a good (as in relatively painless) poo this morning, so it may be working.
3)don't irritate the area with too much attention
4)stopped taking MOM because it was irritating the area a bit. Switched over to Mineral oil.
