Rachael1984, sorry to hear that you have to get the hems banded and dealing with a fissure at the same time.
I know that is quite painful and sometimes after the hems falls off you have an open sore in there that have to heal, soo sorry you have to deal with all this.
Hopefully your body healing power will take over and things will get better and your healing be an easy one.

Still painful, weird pricking feeling and throbbing pain. BM okay today. There is blood after BM on the wipe. Only dabbing the area then straight into sitz bath.
Not sure if the blood is from the injection sites or from the hems. Also it feels a little weird when gas comes out.
Hopefully some improvement soon, not getting my hopes up too high at this moment. Xx

I think you may experience some blood if the Botox has improved blood flow to the area. Throbbing could also be due to improved blood flow or bruising from intervention. Fingers and toes crossed for you. Xx

Update. Not much blood today. Still uncomfortable, not too bad during BM. Can't cough hard or sneeze, I feel the hems tweak! Ouch. Still in plenty of Sitz baths. Not sitting on my butt much, too uncomfortable.
PIA did you lubricate after Botox? I am scared to touch it up there just incase?!

Absolutely. I used vaseline. Then made the coconut oil suppository really thin and used that during the day. It does sound as if you are improving a little every day.

Thanks, I have been doing 3 sitz baths a day, which has helped. No blood now, just waiting for the hems to drop off. Very itchy!

When I had my hems banded it felt "nutty" inside ... Until they dropped off!

Hi OMB, hope you okay. X I know what you mean, it's like something moving, prickling, nutty!
I don't want to jinx anything, but the pain has definitely changed, seems to be okay when I have a BM. Sore afterwards, but the sitz baths seem to ease that.
It is like a weird scratchy, achy feeling, no burn. Please please please..........
