Botox and Camera Thursday

Postby Rachael 1984 » 02 Apr 2013, 09:55

Posted accidently in Diet tips...
Here goes, I go in Thursday for Botox and camera. Not looking forwards to it. Was getting the pain down a little with the Dilt and care, but then this morning there was a hard BM. No... Blood on one of the Fissures. When will this end?! ( I feel like I have gone back to square one) agh!
So annoying! I will post to let you all know how I am doing.
I think we could definately do with more Botox Success stories on here....

Good luck Rachael :D
50% heals with one botox treatment, and of those who does not, 33% heals with more botox. Thats a 67% chance!
Im sure you will be OK soon too, and hopefully remember to write a success story!
P.S. Yes. Those retears suck, just had one myself. Feels like Im set back a month. We just gotta keep fighting!

Good luck Rachael. Not sure if I am a success story yet but nearing one month post Botox and feeling very well. All BMs are pain free. About once a week I will get some discomfort from what I believe is the fissure site. EVERY time it is related to not maintaining my good care plan. I am a slow learner. Bacon and eggs for breakfast caused discomfort. Too much sweating caused discomfort. Not enough water-discomfort. No bath or shower after BM-discomfort. A coconut oil suppository always gets me back on track. Then maintaining the water intake, diet, movicol and post BM hygiene. This must be my regime until well after I am fully healed. Good luck Racheal. You have had such a long wait. XX Pia

You'll be fine, and that troublesome buttox will be fighting a serious case of Mick Jagger lips - take that fissure!! Image
Absolute guaranteed relief from pain for 6 weeks, plus the best chance of your fissure healing. Go into this with a positive mind and you will be back to normal in no time.
Look forward to hearing about it on Thursday or Friday. :)

Hello everyone, thank you for your kind well wishes.
Well here goes...
Got to the hospital at 7.30, went down to theatre at 10.30. Back at 11.30. No abscesses or anything untoward.
But there were 2 internal hemmaroids! So the CRS banded them! He also did the Botox, but now the pain is horrible from the banding! Orange stuck up there springs to mind!
So when I left the hospital I was sick twice once at the side of the motorway and then again when I got home! Slept okay.
Then the dreaded BM.... Actually the pain wasn't as bad as I thought... Weird! Then cold sweat came on, dizziness, had to sit on the floor to avoid passing out!
Got into sitz bath after this had subsided, they told me I need to keep the area
very clean. Then back into bed. Called the hospital they said this is normal for the procedure and the side effects from the Anaesthetic!
Feel a little sick now, but have managed some toast.
I really wanted just the Botox! Oh well.. Can't change it now.
CRS said I could expect anything from 6 weeks to 3 months for the Botox to ease the anal pressure. He did say there has been a report where someone had resting pressure for a year?!
Not sure when I will see a difference cos of these stupid banded hems. Just throbbing and burning now!
Dreading the BM tomorrow...... Ugh! Keep going..... 👿💉😷😡
