Botox last Friday, 5 days past, in a nutshell, hopefully you can advise;
Had a skin tag in 12' O clock position
Saturday and Sunday - slight pain and skin tag there not causing any problems
Monday- slight pain during and after BM, died down a couple of hours later so tried to do a bit of light housework, felt a sharp pain so took painkillers and had a lie down.
At this point any pain would remain the same or slowly decrease, not this time, it increased and I can't actually find the words to the level of pain, it was horrific.
Previously pain was always the glass like type and low down around the opening, however this pain was very much internal, higher up the rectum, and it came in waves of feeling like being knifed over and over. Morphine eventually got things under control.
Tuesday - no bm But... A strange swelling on the outside of the anus in the 6 'O clock position has appeared. This is different to the skin tag. It is tender to touch and feels as though it may contain fluid?
Wednesday - bm, not too bad, but swelling still there?
The surgeon has kindly agreed to see me tomorrow after being made to feel like a complete pain by his secretary. Seriously, you only have to do a bit of resting about fissures to clone across the words abscess and fistula, the last thing I wang is to step foot in another hospital but after thinking the worst I know it needs checking out, any advice is hugely appreciated?

Thanks ownmybum! I know haven't been able yo find anything similar to this problem either, just praying its bit an abscess as that will be whole new problem, it's been 5 relentless months, feels like ill never live a normal life again! :(
