Im considering changing my treatment from rectiv .4percent to nefidipine because of the nitro headache headrush. Looks like im going to be needing something for another month or two-not healing as fast as i wanted. Do you think i should switch? Its not that nitro isnt working well when i use it... It really takes any kind of pain away, its the headaches that are wiping me out, almost worse than the fissure some days. Its a shame i havent been able to use it consistently i think i would have been healed by now. How good is nifedipine?

I've been using nifedipine for 5 weeks and haven't had any side effects. My CRS says that nitro has more side effects (headaches, dizziness) so my CRS doesn't tend to use nitro.
I've only had a small amount of healing with the nifedipine but I don't want to discourage you from trying it. There are other stories here of people who healed with nifedipine so I think it's worth talking about it with your CRS.
