Acupuncture? Chinese medicine?

Postby Kreaybutt » 13 Jun 2013, 13:48

Has anyone tried or wanted to try either of these and have success? I'm thinking about setting up an appointment with my acupuncturist and see if he can do some work down there. I'm desperate these days!

I know acupuncture can help with digestion issues (IBS, constipation/diarrhea, etc) but when I first had LIS 2-3 years ago and went in for acupuncture for different issues, but mentioned the troubles I was having with my fissure/the surgery, I was kind of told they couldn't do a whole lot for that...

im reading up on chinese herbal tea...and foods that are meant to cool/balance the intestines from dry/hot over heating foods..they say that hot/dry foods inflame the tissue and make it prone to fissures/hemmies

Sounds good if they know what they are doing !  Especially electro-acupuncture.  Otherwise, you end up with additional issues and high bills.
