If you can't find it locally, I'm pretty sure Konsyl is available via Amazon. It really is a great product - I would highly recommend you try it. It is like Metamucil on steroids. With all the other fiber supplements I tried, the results weren't consistent. However, the Konsyl provided predictable results every day - soft, fluffy, bulky stools.

I guess that I'll have to do a google, to see if it also helps diarrhea, like Metamucil, because maybe it is just to help with constipation?

I had the same problem in the beginning when my fissure was still raw. Soft stool is acidic so it irritates more. But as soon as the fissure started scarring I found that soft stools is much better.
