st marks hospital FYA

Postby nick7 » 22 Jun 2013, 11:08

This is just to let you know that the best way to treat a AF is to get a referral to st marks the uk's leading hospital for anything bowel related. You will normally have to wait around 3 months for an appointment but then you can be assured that you are having the best treatment in the world so you can then put your mind at rest

your welcome :)
if you have the money and that's emigrate to a country where you can swim in the sea every day by far the best overall cure and a must for long term chronic suffers

Wouldn't soaking in a sea salt solution work the same way? :)Provided you get the same amount of concentration. Plus you get to limit the amount of potential infectants...

not in the slightest real sea has tremendous benefits and although the sea salt solution you can buy for marine fish is identical to the sea it's too expensive in the concentrations needed also you wont get the ozone benefit which brings about the ultimate in relaxation. Going to your local pool is not the same as the swimming in Barbados/Maldives for example not in a million years
AF's come about through stress in the first place stress keeps the backside tight at all times and that type of stress cant be broken easily the only way for the hard core stress in people to be broken is as i say swimming in the sea as the brain whilst in the sea gets diverted from the backside so that it can relax and whilst relaxed the cool sea can enter and heal and that's a fact seawater is and always has been the finest healer of skin

I suppose there is some truth to that. I guess I'm lucky I live in a country with a lot of beaches, but I would not want to sit in a car for hours to get there. Plus it's just not economically feasible.
I do remember the time we went on vacation though, and the sea water was great.

Nick,
If I was in the situation to emigate, trust me I would!!
To swim in the sea every day would be heaven.
One day maybe!

yes it would be wonderful i did have a chance to emigrate when i retired way back with many health condition's and sadly i failed short of finances with my pension just a little under the requirement for most non EU countries and in reality that in itself would cause stress so i never went. But when i do get to go on holiday it's nice to be pain free for a few days the trouble is thou with the rescission holidays are out of the question so have to always be on my guard just in case the bad old days return
The best advice i can give for the treatment of a AF is to use a ST MARKS RECTAL DILATOR The hospital may supply you with one but you may have to purchase one yourself they are a godsend and everyone should get some benefit.
i cant post any links for 7 days but will post a link on where you may purchase one after the 7 days are up
The best gel to use with it by far is Lignocaine Gel 2% which you can get from your doctor. your doctor however will only prescribe this gel if your hospital agrees st marks patients don't have a problem but other hospitals may well differ and go down another course of treatment which personally i would not go down
I leaned a lot from the late sir Alan parks of st marks hospital over a number of years and although i couldn't get a full cure this being due to other bowel/prostate/ bladder conditions my AF did clear quickly never to return so if you need any further advice then just shout :)
