Feel Like I want to have a poo...

Postby bobasTic3 » 09 Jul 2013, 19:16

Is this common thing for anyone here?
I haven't been confirmed of having a Fissure but it's possible. I have an appointment in August. I have had my pain for over a month.
My symptoms are pain and lately my 'poo' system is not been working correctly. I feel like feel like i wanna poo but then i go and it doesn't come out, because possibly there isn't any.  So I'm getting fooled.
Is this a common thing? Some guy before said he had hemorrhoids and anal fissures and that this was one of his symptoms too.
If you guys know about this, why does it happen?

Yes its common. As a matter of fact, i have experienced every pain possible with my fissure: pulling, pushing, what feels like poo but is just gas, a prickling, ripping, punched in the butt, throbbing muscle, papercut feeling, itching, intense burning, mild burning, knife up the butt, you name it, ive felt it and yes its normal with a fissure.

But dont worry, take stool softeners, see a dr. Take miralax at bedtime so its easy to go. Try to get a hold of some rectiv .4 percent. August is a long time to wait with one of these.

Ok, so, if your fissure pain is bad the sphincter muscle starts to tighten up (reflexively) as you are trying to go.  I have had many mornings of 'wrestling' to try and poo when the pain was worse.  At the very worst I was unable to go despite feeling the stool 'loaded' into position but my sphincter just wouldn't let it outl  Later a specialist told me I could use a glycerin suppository at a time like that.  Most days for the last several months it has taken time, techniques like drinking water before trying (some people say warm/hot water, my specialist said two glasses of cold water) and also 'lubing up' (with your nifedipine ointment or other lubricant) to help things along. It ain't normal but these strategies can help.  Some people try soaking in a bath or sitz bath before trying and that can relax the problematic muscle.  With any luck, your fissure problems will be temporary.  Check out all the tips on diet and keeping your stools softer on this site.  Good luck!

You guys are thinking I have something to release. But no. I'm saying I feel like I need to go but there is nothing there. For example I do manage to go in the morning.
And all day long I feel like I need to go even though there is nothing there to release.
It's just the feeling.
I guess the muslces or nerves that usually tell us we're ready to go have some damage or something, and they're telling me I need to go even though I don't

Yes, the muscle tightness/spasm can make you feel like you have to go even if there is nothing in there ready to be expelled. Internal hemorrhoids can also cause this feeling to happen.
Until you see the doctor the best you can do has already been mentioned above. Keep stools soft with diet and/or stool softeners if needed to avoid further trauma to a fissure or possibly hemorrhoids and warm sitz baths to relax the muscles and promote circulation.

Oh, sorry my response was off-base as far as what you were experiencing.  I have also experienced that sensation even when there are no stools to pass.  That can be really confusing (along with annoying as heck).  It did help me to have an exam and then I had a clearer understanding of what I was dealing with.  In addition to internal hemmies, you can have other associated pathology.  I have some papilla (little growths) inside.  Plus the external sentinel pile.  All these change to the anatomy (associated with the AF) make it hard to know what's what.  I fondly remember the good 'ol days when I didn't think about any of this!

Wel i just want to share what happend today.
I woke up and i kinda felt like i wanted to poo. but not like a strong urge. I just felt a vague one.
So i went 7am, it didn't come easy i had to wait and then what i did was surprisingly almost nothing plus it was greenish.
I went back to my room but i felt like i was not empty and i kept feeling a vague sensation like i wanted to go.. So 30 minutes after i decided to try. And again i didn't have a strong urge but i sensed that i kinda wanted to go ..
i sat. waited, but i didn't realy have a GRAPABLE urge to release. so i just stayed there waiting. Then i tried to relax and more and more came. but in like parts. little by little. I'd lose the release urge and have to build it again by trying to relax and then i got more out and more out.
Until i finally felt empty. And man that felt good. After that i didn't feel like i wanted to go anymore.
But it's weird, these days i just do like 1nce a day. When i was normal i would do another one at night or evening or 3pm but now i just do in the morning.
and like i explained, it's not very easy.
But anways, today after I did that one at 7;30am, i've been feeling good all this day. not alot of pain either.
Wondering if this is a sign of healing.
I've had this POO dysfunction since 1 week ago. It just started suddenly.
I've been having pain since 1 month ago, but i didn't have POo dysfunction until 1 week ago

Regardless oh what I say, it sounded similar too me at the beginning of my health issues here. Still you should see your Doctor, I know soon you will.
My doctor told me my bowels were going through a spastic motion, due to a trauma, My colon became lax or sluggish and I would have to retrain it, and it was effecting sphincter, you name it.
Did you eat any green foods, Spinach or kale, or even a green Juice can do it as well.   If you do get a fever, go to the hospital or a emerge clinic.
IBS can also cause that feeling, so please check it out soon, but in the meanwhile, try too sooth your mind with walks or music, what ever it takes..OK..we are here for you.
