Here's a little bit about my eating habits and needs.. I am 25 and have an 8 month old daughter whom I still breast feed. I am literally hungry all day so I eat 5-6 meals a day and snack between. Sometimes coming here and reading how little you all eat makes me feel like I eat too much and am going to hinder my healing by doing so. I'm very small too, 80 lbs now, usually about 107. Ive been pain free since may but i know i am not healed. still get weird feekings down there and had a couple bad days last week where i think i might have irritated the afs again but no re-tear. Here is my daily eating routine, please by experience let me know if there's something you "think" (cause i know were all different) that I should cut out or change.
Breakfast is either oatmeal with peanut butter, fruit and honey. OR a whole wheat English muffin or ekekiel english muffin with peanut butter honey and fruit or flax whole grain waffles with once again fruit and honey. Twice a week I add an egg in there also. Somedays ill have oatmeal AND a muffin AND fruit. lol im a hungry momma. Today I had whole wheat French toast, two chopped up dates, almond butter with honey drizzled on top, a side of lactose free cottage cheese and a peach. It was so yummy and I felt bad for enjoying it so much! "/
Lunch is usually a turkey, dark leaf lettuce, avocado, tomato whole wheat sandwich with a bowl of fruit and sometimes wheat thins or a side salad with raisins.
Or a chicken or tuna salad with fruits or veggies.
Snack- whole grain graham crackers with peanut butter and cinnamon or fruit or if I'm feeling frisky an oatmeal pop tart.
Most days ill snack on a hand full of dark chocolate almonds and cashews too.
Dinner- Either chicken or fish or shrimp with two veggies, usually broccoli, carrots, sweet potato and brussel sprouts, asparagus or artichoke. I also eat a fruit with dinner every night. I try not to eat a lot in one sitting but I'm finding that an hour or so after I'm always hungry.
For a night time snack, ill have two more graham crackers with peanut butter and cinnamon.
I drink between 4-5 liters of water a day too.
Does that sound like a lot to you all? I refuse to go hungry everyday, especially breast feeding but I so badly want to heal for good and enjoy good, healthy food!
