A few full doses of miralax over 3 days and one dose of milkbof magnesia caused almost 6 runny and extremely painful BMs for two and a half days so far. I have since started psyllium husk and limited my food today to a couple of pears and a few pieces of toast. I am trying to take in home made electrolyte(fresh lemon juice, salt and sugar) because i am very weak now. Should i start eating other foods to get my system back to normal?
i am getting about 2 liters of water so far today.

I had something similar after a general anaesthetic and taking lactulose and MoM to get things moving. I stuck to toast, white rice, cornflakes and pears and half dosed my stool softener whilst it sorted itself out. It did calm down after about 4 days.
