HI Apes,
Things have been slowly getting better. I'm watching everything I eat, taking a variety of vitamins and supplements that promote tissue repair, anal health, etc. The spasms are much better so I guess the botox is working. Today was not as good as the past few days so there is a lot of up and down. But today was still far, far better than a few weeks ago. It's just so slow. Mornings seem to be the hardest for me. It takes me a few hours to get going. I usually have 2 bm's and have to soak, lay down, apply ointment. So I'm planning on returning to work on time. I have a workshop this week and have to go in to set up my classroom. I plan on being very gently and slow. Officially, I start on September 2nd and I think I might have to get up at 4:00 to do my routine and get to work on time. I;m hoping that the botox heals this fissure and everything gets better......I still get the spasms and pain at times which remind me that the damn cut is still there, Trying to keep a positive attitude.
Thanks for checking in, I was going to post an update soon. I see the CRS Monday and I'm a little worried about letting her look. Not sure I will yet.
Hope you had a wonderful vacation and are doing well!

So happy things are progressing. I'm the exact same in the morning. I need to get up 2 hours before I leave the house. Eat, have 2 BMS, clean up and soak in the tub if I can. Based on what im hearing you should be able to manage your work schedule with a little inconvenience and some discomfort, but like you said nothing like the spasm was before.
As I have probably told you, in my opinion there is no need for an internal exams. regardless of what the CRS sees I don't believe he would have you do anything differently. As long as things are moving in the right direction leave well enough alone. Good to hear from you, have a great start to the school year.
