That diagnosis is very interesting. I too had very little pain when passing a bowel movement but started with burning about 10-15 minutes after and lasted many hours. I find it so frustrating that after 12 months of discomfort, bleeding, infections, sigmoidoscopies and several appointments with a surgeon, that I still have doubts about what is causing it. I am going to suggest Lichen Sclerosis next time I see my surgeon as there are a few other symptoms which fit that diagnosis. I have also been offered botox so hope they may have a good look around as they did with you.

Please keep us updated! I really honestly think I'm going through the same thing as you. I'm so tired of not having any answers despite having gone through so many tests and doctor's visits. I'm going to have to bring this up to my colorectal doctor, if I even manage to make it. :(
