something 'white' in my anus!

Postby soey » 24 Oct 2014, 10:22

Hello again
Since my CRS won't really respond to any of my phonecalls, I have to ask you guys for advice again :)

This morning, i had a look at my anus in a mirror and I noticed a tiny white 'dot'. At first I thought it was toilet paper, but it's not.. is this scar tissue or something? Also, I had alittle bit of.. yellow isch puss back there.. doesnt hurt, just tender and alittle sore like it always is on bad days(But not on the outside, only on the inside). Or could this be something that has to do with the botox injections i got two weeks ago? Think i would have felt it if its infected. Also have a hemmie, but it doesnt really bother me.
The biggest problem now is the feeling inside my anus.. like sandpaper rubbing against the skin or something

Anyone? :o

Soey,

Sorry but I cant help you with figuring out what the white thing could be but I also experienced the sandpaper sensation when I would have a BM, added any type of ointment up there. Are you doing any better?

Just found out that it's scar tissue. This can cause alot of irritation too :o And I have ALOT of it. I have more good days than bad, but the bad days still make me very depressed. If this is my new normal, then.. wellI'll never be able to have a 'normal' life.
How are you doing, Alyssa?

I feel the same way... I don't want this to be my new normal though. What has the doctor suggested for you to do for the scar tissue?

My CRS does not care at this point. She knows I'm healed, and tells me that most of the pain is in my head.. Yes, alot is mental, but the pain and discomfort is very very real.

grrrr, it really makes me angry when I hear "the pain is in your head". Such ignorance and indifference.
Nifedipine/lidocaine, no help
Diltiazem, effective, but caused major rash
Nitroglycerine, effective.
Topical estrogen for final healing.
Gentle heat to bottom - pain relief, muscle relaxant
Kondremul mineral oil
Time - lots of time.
Status - Healed!

Soey,

Can you get a 2nd opinion?

soey & ff,
Have you tried seeing a physical therapist? Botox to the pelvic floor has decreased my anal irritation...
