I recently found a study done at a university in Chile with Gonyautoxin injections as an alternative to current therapies.
Has anyone heard of this before and/or had Gonyautoxin injections?

I can't find a link, but I looked into this a year or two ago and found a followup article done after this study (2005). If I recall correctly, the treatment was never put into use because it was very much like Botox, which already was being used by most doctors.

Been discussed in here before. Short story: Its not being offered as a treatment for AF.

Thanks chachacha and jhh for replying. Based on the study findings (although only 50 people were part of the study), it sounded like a good alternative of what we already know and without the risks of incontinance.
