I don't know an easy way unfortunately. I just ended up pulling mine out. It was uncomfortable, but it needed to go because it was causing me more pain than I deserved. Try to relax those muscles and work it out of there. You'll feel better once you do. Don't know why they feel it's necessary to shove a golf ball sized portion of gauze in there!!! Surely there's a better way!
OH MY GOD! That was bigger than any bm I've had in six months! A Valium and two percosets later I got it out but I literally almost fainted.... It is much better now though, if only I could stop shaking now... Thanx alpine think I'll go cry with relief now I was soooo worried about that!
I am much much better. I have to say, it didn't hurt so much but it was shocking and self inflicting is always more difficult. I actually feel like I can eat now something real not applsauce. Sorry if that last post was scary, I was still in shock! It was well worth it alpine you were right what a relief.
I imagine that was pretty shocking! Please don't worry about scaring us. We are here to be strong for each other - and having to cope with unpleasant objects docs shove up our butts deserves a strong support team! I'm so glad you are feeling better now. I imagine you are raiding your kitchen for all the tasty food you can eat - have fun! :D
Glad you're okay Elphie!!! My advice to everyone from now on is, try to get that thing out of you while your butt is still numb! I took mine out just a few hours after surgery, and there was very, very little blood. It felt so much better. Now go enjoy a popcorn, nuts, chips, and beer binge!! Well okay, maybe not just yet....or ever.
Well, I thought that first BM would b similar to that packing but the poop was a breeze in comparison. I agree with alpine, get it out right away while your numb. Might get out into the lawn chair again today, hope my butt cooperates!
I hope you are able to get out in that lawn chair. Good for the soul and we all need that! I'm so happy for you that the first poop was ok and not like your packing experience! Bambi
