Those who've been following my ramblings are probably well aware of how badly this has affected me. Well, today, in addition to finding that I'd be going for LIS at the end of the month, I got some other good info as well. It came from my bathroom scale.
At the end of June this year, when I began having my neuro-psych issues, I had dropped to 307lbs, but was looking to lose more. On the 28th of November, I first went to the Immediate Care facility because the pain from my BMs was just unbearable. A week later, I followed up with my GP. At that visit, my weight had dropped to 282lbs. Today, I checked and I'm now at 267lbs.
So, as bad as this has all been, there has been at least some benefit. The other good thing is that I am not feeling real hungry, so what I'm currently limiting myself to could work in the long term.
When things get bad, you've got to look for those positives!
